with panelists: Toni Ahl, Trent Taylor, and Jennifer Wheatley

Toni Ahl, President,   EEO Advantage, LLC                                                                                                                                              

EEO Advantage LLC provides consulting and training regarding the laws enforced by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). Toni conducts investigations for various organizations and employers. She was formerly a Senior Investigator with the EEOC for over 30 years. Toni works with EEOC to teach classes for the Office of Federal Operations (OFO) including its classes for new Federal EEO Investigators. In addition, she has conducted harassment training and EEO training for managers and supervisors for OFO. She has been a presenter for the Kentucky SHRM conference and at various regional SHRM chapters. Toni has conducted training for private employers as well as Federal, state and local government entities. She is a strategic partner with OutSolve, an affirmative action firm. Toni has a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Louisville.

Trent Taylor, Associate, Dinsmore & Shohl LLP

Trent focuses his practice on labor and employment law. He works with clients of various sizes throughout all aspects of pre-litigation investigation, litigation, and assisting with charges in front of several agencies, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Kentucky Commission on Human Rights, and Occupational Safety and Health Administration. Trent has helped clients by handling complex issues involving TitleVII of the Civil Rights Act, the Family Medical Leave Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, and many other state and federal statutes and regulations. 

Jennifer Wheatley, President, HR Affiliates     

Jennifer is a Human Resources Executive with over 25 years of human resources experience in multiple industries including consulting services, manufacturing/distribution, banking, and retail.  Her passion is providing HR solutions for her clients by helping them build their HR infrastructure through process development, compliance, and people. She especially enjoys working with entrepreneurs, family-owned businesses, and non-profit organizations.  Prior to joining HR Affiliates, Jennifer was the President/Owner of CenterPointHR.  Jennifer also has experience as a Senior HR Consultant with an HR outsourcing firm, as well as spending many years with JPMorgan Chase in several senior HR roles. 

Jennifer holds an M.A. in Human Resources Management and a B.S in Business Administration and is a SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) as well as a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR).  Jennifer is a member of the National Society for Human Resources Management, the Kentucky Society for Human Resources Management where she serves on the State Council as the Director of Membership and the Louisville Society for Human Resources Management (LSHRM), where she has previously served on the Board as the chair for the Certification and Member Development Committee.  Jennifer also is an adjunct professor at the University of Louisville, teaching Human Resources Management in the College of Business.  She also is a member of the University of Louisville Family Business Center where she is a facilitator for the HR Roundtable. Jennifer also serves on the KY NAWBO Board and was the recipient of the 2020 KY NAWBO Executive of the Year.
