This panel discussion will cover a variety of topics on how to maneuver the intricacies of a family owned or small business from the HR seat. 

Our panelist include: Dee Wurm – HR Manager for ERL, Inc.; Glen Mattingly – Director of HR for Amatrol; and Yvette Broadway – HR Manager for Marcus Paint.

 Some of the discussions will be around these areas: 

• How do you attract talent to a business that has family working in it?
• How you promote or retain people when family is at the top of the chain?
• What are some ways you can compete with big companies in the areas of salary, benefits and PTO?
• Best practices for knowledge retention and succession planning in a small business
• What are the true benefits / selling points of a small business as opposed to large corporate environment?
• How important is culture in a small business
